The need for well planned, small intimate wedding options is growing daily. We are excited to be able to combine our years in the wedding industry with photography, planning and adventure guiding in multiple countries to create a one-stop-shop wedding planning service like nothing we’ve seen out there.
Whether you are getting married in the fjords of Norway, the cliffs of Ireland, the mountains of Montana, a treehouse in Alabama, The Coast of Oregon, or the Desert in Arizona, we have all the wedding essentials covered for you and we can’t wait to make your dream wedding a reality for you.

Planning, Photography and Design Style.
We tend to setup our wedding scenes in a way that “let’s the landscape do the talking” as Michaela says. We are inspired by nordic style and color palettes as well as outdoor inspired intimate wedding concepts. We use the backdrop for each of our curated locations as the main piece of inspiration when it comes to any additional decor, custom flowers and cakes created.
On each wedding day, we do our best to bring a sense of confidence and ease into the room for every moment whether big or small. Our team is ready to do whatever needed to ensure that your experience feels like its 100% you the entire time.
Female Owned and Operated.
We believe that every wedding is unique and we want our clients to feel like they get the very best value for their investment. We aren’t a giant “wedding industry” machine, but rather a small, boutique, female owned adventure wedding company that focuses on small batch, quality experiences in each of our locations rather than large classic weddings, and lots of them. We only book in a few weddings per year in each location to keep things running smoothly and to make space for an amazing client experience for each of our couples.
Empowering Local Small Businesses.
For each of our weddings, we love pulling in the very best local vendors and artisans whenever possible. This means no matter where you have your wedding or honeymoon adventure, our team is working with locals to pour money back into the local economy.
Project R 12 Non-Profit Funding.
For every wedding package booked through Promise Mountain, we donate a portion of the profit to our good friends at PR12, a non profit in Uganda empowering women and children through the building of schools, wells and vocational training centers. We believe that it’s time that the wedding industry begins to pour money back into the places that need it most. We love getting to be part of funding this amazing organization every time someone gets married through Promise Mountain.

It may go without saying, but we have worked extremely hard to create one of the most streamlined (and stress free!) wedding planning experiences out there. Our goal is for you to be able to pick a package, answer a few questions, and show up to your wedding without a worry, or care. We want you and your loved ones to be able to enjoy every moment without having to worry about a single detail. All you do is show up, and we’ll take care of the rest for you!
Designed Around Photography.
The core members of our team started out as wedding photographers for years and along the way we saw over and over the wedding planners who knew how to plan a wedding well and sadly, we also saw too many weddings to count that were planned poorly by wedding planners… (Oh do we have stories for you!).
Simply put, we have combined all of our years in the photo industry to create an amazing wedding planning service that is built around the best client experience as well as the best photo experience possible.
We know that most of our clients may want to host a small backyard party or another reception in the future and the thing that will tell the story best is the photography (and any video added on!). We work with the TOP photographers out there to create magazine worthy image collections that tell your story with emotion rich movement and authenticity.
Every wedding includes a full wedding photo session during the wedding day as well as a professionally edited wedding photo gallery that will be ready online with easy access for you and your guests within 3-4 weeks of your wedding.

Michaela and the Promise Mountain team love the get the job done well, but at the same time, we love having fun in the process. For every couple that we photograph and guide into this amazing experience you can be sure that there are plenty of (terrible!) dad jokes and hilarious moments to go along with it… we love to laugh and have fun along the way.
