Nancy & Matt - Mountaintop Elopement in Norway

This past summer, our team had the privilege of hosting Boston couple, Nancy & Matt, for their mountaintop elopement in Stranda, Norway. The weather was perfect, creating the perfect wedding backdrop in the lush fjords of Norway.

Matt and Nancy started the day off at the lovely Norwegian Cabins complex that we host each of our couples in. The hair and makeup artist, Edil, arrived at the cabins and did a fantastic job working with Nancy to prep her for the wedding. Once everyone was ready to go, we embarked via gondola up Strandafjellet Mountain in Stranda, Norway to one of our favorite mountaintop views in the world. It's here that Nancy & Matt tied the knot during the ceremony with our local wedding officiant Adrian. What an amazing moment it was-- the view wasn't too bad either... 

Once the ceremony was over, the newlyweds popped their bottle of champagne, had a toast, cut the cake, and took in their first married moments together. Eventually, we finished out the experience with some photography both on top of the mountain and down in the valley as well. As seen in the photos, their joy was contagious, clearly indicating their love for each other and their excitement to be married. Both Nancy & Matt were an absolute pleasure to work with-- and we wish them the very best in their new marriage together!
