Intimate Blacktail Mountain Micro Wedding in Lakeside, Montana
You know those sweet moments where everything comes together so smoothly and seamlessly that you can’t help but smile and enjoy yourself? That was exactly what our experience was capturing Michella and Michael’s Blacktail Mountain micro wedding. The bride and groom wanted an intimate celebration, and they wanted something beautiful and adventurous, so when they searched “micro weddings” they found us here at Promise Mountain!
It’s the Little Details That Really Make a Micro Wedding Unique
Michella and Michael preferred a minimalist approach to their Blacktail Mountain micro wedding, allowing the gorgeous views from the mountaintop overlooking the lake to shine through. But that didn’t mean that they skimped on the tiny details, those really shined through. I love how they added their own sweet and personal touches, such as Michella’s stunning brooch bouquet made with family heirlooms, antique pieces she found shopping with friends, and also pieces given to her by loved ones who couldn’t join them for their big day. Her bouquet was a work of art! We also loved that Michael wore a grape soda pop cap on his lapel, a fun family memory of how Michella’s grandfather proposed to her grandmother! Each family member joined in the fun by wearing a different pop cap pin to keep the theme going.
Big Flavor for a Blacktail Mountain Micro Wedding
Every detail of this Blacktail Mountain micro wedding was thought through with such intentionality. Michella’s father is elderly and has a hard time getting around, so the venue they chose was perfect! Because the venue offers the ability to drive all the way to the top of the mountain, that meant her father didn’t have to hike to the ceremony spot. The walkable terrain also meant they were able to have a sit-down ceremony on the mountain top. They even explored the gorgeous terrain afterward while having a gondola ride cocktail hour which was a huge hit with everyone!
Michella and Michael wanted to enjoy a delicious meal with their guests after they returned to the top of the mountain from their gondola ride. So we worked with local gourmet chefs, called The Chef Guys, to prepare an exquisite meal for them! Every dish was delicious, and every vendor worked so well together to deliver a romantic, memorable, and stress-free day for our couple.
