Promise Mountain Update
Seven years back, we embarked on an incredible journey as a company.
Drawing inspiration from Norway's stunning landscapes, where company founder Michaela Potterbaum spent over a decade exploring, the idea sparked to bring couples together on those majestic mountaintops that had stolen her heart. The vision was born: crafting upscale wedding packages where couples just needed to show up and let the magical adventure unfold.
That's been the heart of our mission.
The world has seen a remarkable shift since then, especially with the global pandemic shaking things up. Intimate weddings and elopements have become the name of the game, a trend that's swept across the globe.
So we started building out packages and teams in more locations and have enjoyed planning many elopements in some of the most gorgeous locations around Europe and the US and have worked with some of the most amazing couples. It has been a JOY!
Recently, though, we have realized that we want to refocus on the location that first made us fall in love with elopements - Norway.
So, we have made the tough, but exciting decision to phase out all State-side elopement locations and turn our focus back to Norway full time, effective immediately. With this new decision, we are also excited to be working to expand our current offerings in Norway which we are hoping to launch later this year!
